I empathize hard with this - That’s where the name of my Substack is from even.
Surrender, asking for help, ceasing to thrash…. They are not weakness or giving up. These are what it means to have the strength to find a better way and the bravery to speak your truth, despite what anybody else may think.
Thanks. This year, so far, has been better. Nothing has really changed much, other than finding Substack, but at least nothing has gotten worse! All of last year seemed like fate was trying to one up itself in dealing out misery. 😂
I’m looking for any way to make some extra money. I turned subscriptions on. I’m in the process of making some digital products. I am doing some affiliate marketing and content creation. Even though it’s a struggle right now, I prefer doing all that to getting another job in the tech industry. Less stress.
